here is where I will list apps that I think any computer user should at least try.

Quake 3 Arena if you don't know what Quake 3 is, then you're the only one. But just in case you're the only one, Quake 3 Arena is a mainly multiplayer frag-fest. You pretty much just shoot anyone in sight, or if your playing Team Deathmatch or CTF, then you just frag anything in sight that is on the other team.

SyGate is a program that lets you share an internet connection accross a lan (this is primarily for Cable Modem Users with a network)

Crystal Port This is an awesome internet browser that is the best I've ever seen, the cool thing about it is that it let's you veiw more than one webpage in the same window, you have got to try this out.

ODIGO I highly reccomend this product if you use more than one instant mesanging program, it lets you use you icq, aim, yahoo, and other instant messaging programs in one hard to figure out, but eventually easy to use, interface.

WinMX this is a cool file sharing program that you can use to find virtually any mp3, video, game or other file.
